About this Talk

From Edward Snowden's disclosures to Google’s Project Maven, the U.S. government and U.S. technology sector have at times struggled to agree on matters of national security. This is a challenge for U.S. cybersecurity because the private sector owns and operates so much of the infrastructure of cyberspace. Interviews over the last two years reveal a path forward, however. This talk outlines historical examples of cooperation between public and private sectors and specific recommendations for improving U.S. cybersecurity.
