Christian Dameff, M.D. is an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine, Biomedical Informatics, and Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California San Diego. He serves as the Medical Director of Cybersecurity at UCSD Health. Dameff is also a hacker and security researcher interested in the intersection of healthcare, patient safety, and security. He has spoken at some of the world’s most prominent hacker forums, including DEF CON, Derbycon, BSides, RSA, Blackhat. He is also one of the co-founders of the CyberMed Summit, a novel multidisciplinary conference with a focus on infrastructure and medical device cybersecurity.
